Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how E&L Asia Pacific Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and stores personal data through the Attenda platform (getattenda.com). By using Attenda you agree to this policy.

In plain English: We collect only what is needed to run your event. We do not sell data. Data is automatically deleted after 7 days on free plans and 30 days on paid plans. Export your data before it is deleted.

1. Who we are

Attenda is operated by E&L Asia Pacific Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. Our registered address is Hong Kong SAR, China.

2. Data we collect

Account data (organisers)

Name and email address used to create your account
Billing information processed securely by Stripe
Usage data such as events created and features used

Event participant data

This data is uploaded by the organiser and may include:

Full name
Identification number or ID
Organisation or company name
Date of birth (optional)
Custom fields defined by the organiser
Electronic signature image
Check-in timestamp

Technical data

IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention
Device type for optimising the kiosk experience

3. How we use data

To provide and operate the Attenda service
To allow organisers to manage event attendance and collect signatures
To generate attendance reports and exports
To communicate with organisers about their account and events
To improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use participant data for advertising purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain event participant data including signatures for the minimum time necessary:

Free plan: 7 days from the event date
Starter plan: 7 days from the event credit expiry date (credits valid 30 days from purchase)
Pro plan: 30 days from the event credit expiry date
Annual plan: 30 days from the event date

Organisers are notified by email before deletion. Data can be exported at any time before deletion using the built-in export function. Account data is retained for the duration of the account and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

5. Data storage and security

Attenda is hosted on Lovable's cloud infrastructure. Data is stored on servers managed by Lovable and its subprocessors. We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Lovable in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data sharing

We share data only with the following categories of third parties where necessary to provide the service:

Lovable: hosting and infrastructure
Stripe: payment processing
Email service providers: transactional emails and notifications

All third party processors are bound by data processing agreements and are required to maintain appropriate security standards.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you
The right to correct inaccurate data
The right to request deletion of your data
The right to export your data in a portable format
The right to object to or restrict certain processing

8. Cookies

Attenda uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website, which sets additional cookies on your device.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Analytics data is anonymised (IP anonymisation is enabled) and is not used to identify individual visitors. It is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of Attenda after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
